Across the EP, themes of addiction, emotional reckoning, and hard-earned clarity unfold through the perspective of Payton Adler. Lead single “Payback,” anchors the release with a darkly seductive take on toxic love, driven by distorted vocals and jagged textures. 

The second track, “Black & Blue” is a deeply personal confessional and reveals a more vulnerable side of Floorplan. Building from piano-led intimacy into sweeping emotional release, the track’s unflinching lyrics make it one of the EP’s most raw moments. And the EP’s focus track “Sick Of It” channels frustration and defiance into an anthem for outsiders who feel unseen and unheard.
