Armchair Cynics

Armchair Cynics are a dynamic four-piece rock band from Victoria, BC, known for creating melodic, emotionally driven songs with a gritty edge. With soaring hooks, powerful and emotive vocals, and finely crafted song writing, their sound continues to resonate since their debut 20 years ago. 

Their 2005 EP Killing the Romance captured the intensity of its era. Raw, brooding arena rock packed with big emotional moments and high production value cemented their spot as a part of Canada’s modern rock scene. In 2009, the band released Starting Today, an album that embraces their pop side and adds a more boisterous, expressive personality to their catalogue.
