The limited-edition 20th Anniversary Vinyl includes a gatefold jacket, 2 black and blue vinyl discs, remastered tracks, and features the hit singles “So Far So Good,” “Come Again,” “Beautiful,” “Easy Comes,” and “Falling to Pieces".
A digital re-release of the album, including 3 B-side bonus tracks, will also be available to purchase and download May 11th.
Thornley is led by vocalist/guitarist virtuoso Ian Thornley, who does double duties as the co-founder of Boston rock outfit Big Wreck. On a Big Wreck hiatus, Thornley returned to his native Toronto and began writing solo material. Nickelback's Chad Kroeger -- a pal from the modern rock trenches -- had just started his 604 label through Universal, and promptly tapped Thornley as one of the first priorities. By late 2003, the singer was back in the studio, working with an allstar lineup of studio masters: producer Gavin Brown (Three Days Grace), drummer Sekou Lumumba, bassist Ken Tizzard, and guitarist Tavis Stanley. “Come Again” LP appeared in May 2004, the first single "So Far So Good" was an instant rock and alternative radio hit in North America and has since been certified Gold.
May 11th 2024 marks the 20th anniversary of Thornley’s debut album, Come Again. 604 Records will celebrate the anniversary with the release of the record on vinyl format for the very first time, as well as a digital re-release with b-side tracks.
The certified gold album includes songs where the melody comes through simply and directly accompanied by heavy guitar riffs, ass-kicking drums and emotionally intense vocals.
